Hand sourced in France, this French Louis Philippe commode is crafted in richly grained mahogany with a warm, deep finish. Its classic Louis Philippe form is simple and substantial, allowing the natural variation and character of the wood to stand out.

The commode features four drawers - one apron and three generously sized central drawers, each fitted with ornate brass ring pulls and decorative escutcheons. The figured wood grain creates a particularly striking detail across the drawer fronts, while the simple plinth base and rounded feet balance the piece’s more decorative hardware. Topped with a beautifully contrasting grey marble slab, the overall design has the refined yet understated character so distinctive of the Louis Philippe period.
