Hand sourced in Belgium from a fantastic dealer known for his Swedish pieces, this secretary is the real thing—both in construction and in presence. It’s the kind of piece that reads immediately as authentic, not decorative.

The form leans Rococo in its movement—the gentle curve through the lower drawers, the shaped apron, and the way the whole piece softens without losing structure. The drop front opens to a full writing surface with an interior fitted with small drawers and compartments, all finished in a contrasting tone that adds depth when opened. It’s functional, but also incredibly considered in how it was built.
