Pair of Italian Commodes

Hand-sourced in Italy, we found this incredible pair of commodes near Turin.

A true pair, they make an impressive statement with their generous scale and beautifully figured wood. Each piece features three drawers framed by richly grained veneers, with book matched patterns creating a sense of movement across the fronts. Decorative brass escutcheons and pulls add a refined touch, while the shaped apron and tapered legs lend an elegant silhouette.

As a pair, the matching commodes offer both symmetry and substantial storage. Their warm wood tones and classic Italian design would work beautifully in a variety of interiors, from traditional to more collected and layered spaces. With their considerable size, they are particularly well suited to flanking a grand entryway, fireplace, or architectural opening, where their scale and symmetry can really be appreciated.

Used together, this pair brings an instant sense of presence and balance to a room while providing practical storage beneath. Style them with oversized mirrors, artwork, lamps, or collected objects above for a beautifully composed and timeless arrangement.
