Antique French Louis XVI Buffet

Hand sourced in France, from my FAVORITE vendors - it is rare we find a true antique buffet in this style, and I was thrilled to have found her.

The piece features a classic three-door façade, each panel framed with intricate trim work that highlights its graceful proportions. Its balanced symmetry and clean lines reflect the understated sophistication characteristic of the Louis XVI period.

Inside, the buffet offers both form and function: three concealed drawers sit neatly within, ideal for storing flatware or linens, while spacious shelving behind each door provides practical storage for larger items. The interior layout is smartly designed to keep essentials organized without compromising the buffet’s elegant exterior.

Fluted, tapered legs lend a sense of lightness and poise, subtly elevating the piece both literally and visually. Delicate beaded escutcheons around each keyhole add just the right amount of ornamentation, catching the eye without overwhelming the form.
