Hand sourced in France, this Louis Philippe commode pairs beautiful burled walnut with a marble top and the substantial, straightforward form associated with the period. The movement and variation within the walnut gives the entire facade incredible depth, making the wood itself the standout feature of the piece.

The commode is configured with a narrow upper apron drawer above larger central drawers, offering generous storage while maintaining a clean front. Book-matched figuring runs across the drawer fronts, with subtle molding between each drawer and block feet grounding the piece below. The marble top adds another natural material and a practical surface for everyday use.

Use it in a bedroom in place of a traditional dresser, in an entry beneath a mirror or artwork, or as a substantial piece of storage in a living room. The warm walnut works particularly well alongside painted pieces, upholstered furniture, and ceramics.
