What a fun find these were! A refined pairing of history and texture, this set of Italian intaglios is mounted on hand-marbled paper and freshly framed under glass. 

I purchased the intaglios from an Italian dealer while sourcing in France—each one a small architectural study, cast in plaster with timeworn edges and beautiful depth. The marbled background adds an updated movement without distraction, giving the intaglios space to stand out. 

Whether hung alone or as part of a larger gallery wall, this piece brings a bolder classical touch to any room.
