Hand sourced in France, this handsome French Louis Philippe commode features five drawers in total, including one upper drawer, three spacious central drawers, and a cleverly concealed fifth drawer along the bottom.

The drawers are fitted with ornate brass drop pulls and escutcheons, while the beautifully grained veneer adds wonderful depth and movement throughout the front. The upper drawer has been fitted with wooden dividers, providing additional organization and practical storage.

A paneled construction, molded details, and shaped lower apron further emphasize its refined French character.

Good condition, consistent with its age and use. The marble top shows minor surface wear, including very minor chips and age-related staining. There are areas of wear and previous repair to the wood, including some losses and lifting, as photographed. Minor panel separation, extremely common in commodes of this style and age, is present to the sides and is purely cosmetic and non-structural.
