Hand sourced in France, this French Louis XVI walnut commode is a beautifully proportioned piece with a warm, richly colored presence. This piece is in good antique condition and is structurally sound, with surface wear and natural variations in the walnut consistent with its age and history.

Minor panel separation and evidence of historic wood-boring insect activity are present, both common in pieces of this age and origin and part of the character of the aged wood. No current insect activity has been observed.
