Hand sourced in France, this antique confit pot has the wonderful irregularity and surface variation we look for in old French pottery.
The warm ochre glaze covers the upper portion of the vessel, while the lower body has been left largely unglazed, with two small handles completing the traditional form.
Use it as a vessel for an orchid, branches, or flowers, or leave it empty and let the aged surface speak for itself. It is an easy piece to layer onto a chest, kitchen counter, open shelving, or a collection of antique pottery.
